While I was on vacation at Disney World ( Vacation post coming soon! ), we stopped at the Disney Marketplace to shop a bit and look around the new, remodeled shopping area they added. If you’re new to all things Disney, the marketplace used to be a big outdoor shopping area basically created to eat ( a lot ) and buy Disney merch. Now, they’ve created a proper shopping center add-on with a bunch of awesome stores like the TWO-STORY ZARA STORE we went into! I’m sure that’s probably completely normal to someone somewhere, but the other Zaras we have around us are pretty small in comparison. So, naturally, I had to go in and see what was new. And, you know, buy some things. I was specifically looking for some everyday basics, and ended up finding these two pieces.
Zara Oversized Text Print Sweatshirt ( M ) – $22.90
I originally saw this one online and instantly fell in love with it! I have an affinity for oversized sweatshirts and for slogans that connect with me on a personal level ( honestly, “overdressed” pretty much sums up my life ), but BOTH of those things TOGETHER?! Sounds like a win-win to me. The sad thing was, it was completely sold out online. So, when I found it in the store I bought it in a heartbeat! I’ve been pairing it with oversized, distressed denim and fancier accessories to add a twist to the basic sweatshirt. It’s no longer online, but you might be able to snag one from a store before they’re gone! Or, click here to check out the same sweatshirt with a different quote ( also adorable ).
Cotton T-Shirt With Back Yoke ( L ) – $9.90
A classic, loose fitting tee and skinny jeans is one of my go-to outfits. I’m always on the hunt for that perfect fit in my basic tees, so it’s kind of tradition for me to try on at least one every time I go into a store. When I was there I spotted this black, slightly cropped pocket tee and knew it would be a great fit. They only had a large in stock which was actually perfect for the oversized, slouchy fit I was going for ( basically what I’m going for in most of my closet to be honest ). I’m sure a smaller size would have been fine, but go big or go home right? Anyways, I seriously suggest these tops if any of you guys are looking for a really great basic that fits well and looks great ( even on us short waisted people who normally drown in regular tees )! I saw grey and white as well, so all of your basic colors are covered. Here is the one I bought 🙂
