A lil bit of a haul, a lil bit of a love note to one of my favorite colors lately. Blush, rose quartz, rose. I have no idea why, but I feel like these are some of the easiest colors to wear and work well on pretty much everybody. My go-to outfit right now is definitely always a blush tee with a cute pair of distressed vintage denim “mom jeans” and my black buckle boots ( Western styled details are another obsession I’ve been overdosing on lately ). I’f I’m going somewhere a bit nicer I’ll go for a silky blush cami ( the one above, from Zara, is my FAVORITE! ), skinny denim in a dark, dark wash and black velvet heels. You know, if you’re looking for some outfit inspo. My love for blush doesn’t stop there though, because I’ve been really playing with the idea of painting a focal wall in my room blush. It’s such a calming and feminine ( not to mention super aesthetic, so it’ll help me finally reign in my IG theme lol ) color. I don’t think I would go for anything too dark, a pretty, almost-white blush kind of thing. Not to mention the fact that I’ve been planning a complete room-redo and rose gold and blush are a combo better than peanut butter and jelly themselves ( unless, you know, you hate pb&j. Then I really don’t know what to tell you ).

As for the pictures, I just had to show off some of the pieces I bought in the last Zara sale ( they have them occasionally and they really are amazing ) because at least half of them were blush. Zara is one of my favorites for basics like these and if you can catch them when they have a sale, then you can buy a lot of their old collection at a pretty steep discount! These three were all under $20 each. The brushes are some of the eye brushes from Morphie’s rose gold collection and I honestly just threw them in because they matched so well ( gotta focus on that aesthetic, you know? ). At the time, I hadn’t even used these babies yet, but now that I’ve had them for a few months I’ve decided I really like them! To be fair, I’m NOT a brush expert, but these are very soft and help pick up a lot of pigment. They always come completely clean when I wash them and I’ve never had an issue with them breaking or shedding. I definitely did buy these because of the lovely colors, but I think I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new set of ( veryyyy pretty ) brushes!
