I’m not normally the type to DIY a lot of things, but I just had to share one of the easiest and quickest DIY’s I’ve ever made! Black velvet chokers with charms and champagne & blush satin ribbon chokers that I added a bit of sparkle to with swarovski gems. I absolutely love them and know you’ll love them too! I’m so happy with how these turned out that I’m going to be showing you some of my favorite ways to wear the chokers and how I style them soon, so keep a look out for that 🙂
The video shows you how I close off the chokers so they look professional and awesome, plus a few decorating ideas and how the chokers look on, so check that out if you want to see how I made them. Here, I’m going to leave you a list of the supplies I used and some pictures of how they turned out, I hope you like them!
TO CLOSE THE CHOKERS
+ Ribbon Closers to fit the ribbon you’re working with. Here is a case with gold closers in a bunch of different sized so you can pick the best one for you!
+ Jump rings to fit the project. Here are the ones I was using.
+ Lobster Clasps. Here are mine.
+ Velvet Ribbon fit to your neck or as much as you need for your project. I bought mine at Joanns in a 1″ width, but couldn’t find it online.
+ Pendants or Charms you like. I bought mine at Joanns, but couldn’t find them online, so here are some really cute alternatives.
+ Any silk ribbon you love will work, but I’m using a champagne and blush 1/2″ width from here.
+ Gems or Charms to add shine. I’m using swarovski crystals ( here ), but any gems you could find at a craft store will work ( here ).
+ Gem Glue. I bought this one.
